At the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston’s 52nd Annual Economic
Good evening. I am pleased to be able to participate in the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston's 52nd annual economic conference, on the topic of inflation and the Phillips curve. Forecasting and controlling inflation are, of course, central to the process of making monetary policy. In this respect, policymakers are fortunate to be able to build on an intellectual foundation provided by extensive research and practical experience. Nonetheless, much remains to be learned about both inflation forecasting and inflation control. In the spirit of this conference, my remarks this evening will highlight some key areas where additional research could help to provide a still-firmer foundation for monetary policymaking.

EURUSD: Continues To Head To The Downside, Targets The 1.551
EURUSD: While the weakness off the 1.5812 high remains suggestive of a corrective pullback following its recovery off the 1.5283 low (May 09’08), a clean break and close below its April 03’08 low at 1.5510 will keep more pressure on the downside and bring the pair towards the 1.5360/41 area, its May 02’08/Mar 24’08 lows/.382 Ret (1.4438-1.6018 rally) and next its May 08’08 low at 1.5283. Succeeding in the Trading Business – Trader Psychology
When this article is published, I will be in Santa Clara Convention Center speaking to some of my readers. It is definitely not easy to take a long haul flight from Singapore to the US. Jet lag is another challenge to me as currently Singapore is 15 hours ahead of Pacific Standard Time in the US. I read in the discussion board that some students complained about having OASIS in the West Coast because they have to fly from the East Coast to the West. I never made such a complaint even though it will take me one whole day to reach the US. Why? It’s because every time when I am going to the US, I am looking forward to it as the trip is somehow related to my trading business. Of course, whenever I talk about trading, I don’t feel exhausted at all. I can talk and talk until I lose my voice completely. You may ask why this is so. My straightforward answer to you that is because I am a trader by profession and have successfully conditioned myself as a professional trader, which is why I am so energetic whenever I am involved in my trading business.
